Hello and Welcome to Roots & Sol!

I love building relationships with others, and have a passion for working with parents and young children. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I am endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Mentor (Clinical) through the Colorado Association of Infant Mental Health. I have worked with a variety of populations throughout the years, but specialize in working with pregnant mothers, new mothers and parents with young children. I also love working with children of all ages. I work with trauma, anxiety, depression, and the overall stresses of life. I love helping parents find more joy in parenting. I have a lot of experience working with children with behavior challenges and supporting their caregivers. I have training and experience in perinatal mood disorders (postpartum depression and anxiety), somatic/movement therapy, play therapy, attachment, trauma, mind-body connections, nature therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as the parent education curriculums Circle of Security, The Incredible Years, and Growing Great Kids. I also have a passion for NeuroSomatic Flow™, where the flow arts (I primarily use poi) are utilized to move trauma and anxiety and heal within. (Ask me about this if you are interested!). I love supporting other professionals in the important field of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health by providing supervision and facilitating trainings. I would love to hear from you and see how I could support you in your journey.
